Daryl Hannah admits she was naive about biofuel production

Daryl Hannah , who has always been a strong advocate for a sustainable lifestyle admits that she was naive when it comes to just how backhanded industry became when developing biofuels to feed the booming demand. She has pushed for more biofuel usage for years, but says this unsustainable production of food for fuel, essentially taking it away from food for human consumption, thus increasing the price of food for all, is not what she expected at all. I really feel for Daryl here. She’s been so hardcore into her beliefs , for all the right reasons, and she simply didn’t realize that things would have inevitably been done this way. “I’m glad the message is finally getting across, but I was not prepared for the enormous amounts of dollars and energy that has gone into producing biofuels in an unsustainable manner,” she said.
