Psychologists define "thinking green"

Filed under: Activism According to a recent study of 16,000 people by the American Psychological Association , people tend to generally care about the environment and living responsibly, yet they don’t know where to begin. However, even more frightening is the fact that most people, when confronted with the fact that they’re not doing enough to help the environment, get frustrated and quit even trying. This is exactly the type of information that is extremely beneficial to all of us if we want to spread the word on saving the planet. Telling people that what they’re doing isn’t enough is not always the best approach. Sure, it may be true at times, but I would think the better approach would be to recommend additional activities for those who aren’t sure of where to make a difference.
