The earth is flat, no really

Filed under: Climate Change Since most of us have never: a.) been to outer space or b.) circumnavigated the globe, there are some people out there who might refer to us as believers — as in, you believe that world is round. You see, there’s actually an international group of “anti-globularists” out there called the Flat Earth Society who don’t fall in line with the “theory” that earth is round . They maintain that it’s actually a disc. All the pictures of earth from space — fakes . Often times, when people are debating global climate change, they refer to skeptics with derogatory terms like “flat-earthers.” Apparently, that terminology isn’t technically accurate. Chance are that whoever you’re disagreeing with actually does believe in globularism — unless you happen to be talking with one of the card carry members of The Flat Earth Society . The movement has lost momentum since the death of its leader Charles Johnson , but the institution lives on.
